FAVA's equipment is available to any member provided they show competency and safe use of the equipment. Mistreated, or damaged equipment can result in hefty expenses for the co-op and suspension of rental privileges. Most equipment comes with instruction manuals. These manuals are obligatory reading when using any piece of equipment for the first time. In order to avoid situations of misuse with especially sensitive or expensive gear, members must display proficient and safe use to the production coordinator before renting the gear.

Accreditation Program:

FAVA is continuing to develop strict practices, checklists, workshops, and tests in order to accredit members with sensitive equipment and best practices on set. We rely on the experience and knowledge of our senior members and experts in preparing these materials and documents.
